This year, the 50th anniversary of Grupo Mundo Ejecutivo represents more than a business success; it is the affirmation of a grand project that has driven the development of leaders, companies, and key economic sectors in Mexico. As Vice President of the Board of Directors of this group, and as an active participant in the recent “Cumbre de las 1000 Empresas Más Importantes de México” (Summit of the 1000 Most Important Companies in Mexico), I had the privilege of experiencing firsthand an event that not only connected ideas but will transform them into concrete actions.

A Space to Build Together

The summit was more than a business event; it was a reminder that the success of any organization is never achieved in isolation. The best ideas, the most ambitious projects, and the most relevant innovations are born from dialogue, collaboration, and shared purpose. Throughout the conferences, keynotes, and discussions, I witnessed leaders from diverse sectors finding common ground to work together –connections that transcend any individual agenda.

I’ve had the fortune of participating in similar forums through both Global Media Investment and Mundo Ejecutivo, but this summit was unique. Not only because we celebrated five decades of history, but also because we laid the foundation for the next 50 years of impact on Mexico’s economy and society.

Technology as a Bridge Between People and Businesses

In my role as CEO of Global Media Investment, I have always believed that technology doesn’t replace human connections –it strengthens them. During the summit, this perspective became evident in the discussions about how digital tools are changing how we relate to one another and conduct business.

For example, something I’m deeply passionate about is how AI and data analysis can optimize decisions -making and improving customers experiences. Yet even the most advanced technology depends on the vision and leadership of those behind it. At the summit, many conversations revolved around how we can use these tools not just to enhance competitiveness but to build stronger and more meaningful relationships with our partners and clients.

Relationships of Business That Create Impact

One aspect I deeply valued at this summit was the diversity of perspectives and the authenticity of the discussions. Beyond numbers and strategies, what truly stood out was the commitment of the attendees to create value beyond their own organizations. To me, that is the essence of business connections: a bond that seeks not only results but also creates a positive impact on our communities.

From my perspective, business connections must go beyond an exchange of interests. At Global Media Investment, we have learned that relationships that endure are those built on trust, transparency, and a shared purpose.

The presence of key figures from both public and private sectors, such as Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, Mexico’s Tourism Secretary ; Altagracia Gómez Sierra, Coordinator of the Advisory Council for Regional Economic Development and Business Relocation; and Octavio de la Torre, President of the Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services, and Tourism (Concanaco Servytur), alongside dozens of major entrepreneurs, affirmed that we are on the right path, working hand in hand to build a stronger and more enduring economy.

50 Years of Legacy and a Vision for the Future

Grupo Mundo Ejecutivo has been a key player in building a solid business ecosystem in Mexico. Since its foundation, it has served as a catalyst for ideas and a bridge between the public and private sectors. This anniversary is not only a celebration of five decades of achievements but also an invitation to look ahead with ambition and commitment.

As Vice President of the Board of Directors, I am fully aware that Mundo Ejecutivo’s role goes beyond being an informative platform. We are a space that connects leaders with opportunities, and this summit was a testament to that mission.

Connections with Purpose

This celebration left a clear lesson: connections not only drive progress, but they also define it. In a time where challenges are global and opportunities demand adaptability, building meaningful relationships is more critical than ever.

From my dual perspective as CEO and Vice President, I reaffirm my commitment to continue promoting spaces like this –where ideas are transformed into projects and relationships into results. The future of Mexican businesses will depend on our ability to work, innovate, and grow together.

The legacy of Mundo Ejecutivo is more than a celebration; it is a call to continue building connections that transcend generations. I am confident that with the support of committed leaders, we will continue transforming Mexico’s business landscape –not only for the next 50 years but far beyond.
